It's easy! Just fill in the blanks with the appropriate option for the videogame of your choice!

Haha...but really now...most videogame creepypastas really are the same. Get it online from someone shady, the label looks weird, game starts normal at first, something odd, glitchyness, and OHMIGOD MUTILATED CHILDREN. I did add a bit of my own in there a bit. Cartoon creepypastas follow pretty much the same pattern.

This is what happens when you read lots of creepypasta for funsies. : D I just felt the need to apply my usual cynical view to it~

Mature content warning just in case, for blood and mutilated children and whatnot. It's not really that explicit.

As a kid, I really loved silent hill . I'd spend all my time playing it, no other game was just as fun as it had been. Lately i'd been missing playing silent hill, so I looked on Amazon to see if I could buy a used copy. Thankfully, I still had my ps3, so I didn't need to worry about that. I saw just one person selling silent hill. It seemed pretty normal at the time. The picture of the game looked to be in good shape. The only odd thing was that they required the 12 dollars

Anyway, the game came a few days later. Pulling it out of the package, I was shocked to see the label was different. Ignoring that, I pulled out my Ps3 and put in the disc to play. It skipped the startup animation entirely, skipping the main menu as well. I started out instead in the first level of the game, real word . The music was all distorted, and sounded like it had been slowed down some. The graphics also seemed a bit darker, and there were no monsters. I moved on to the next town, to find all the buildings had been burnt down and was left in rubble. Upon examining each one, an extremely realistic picture of a mutilated monsters of that area popped up full screen. It almost looked like a picture, the graphics were way too realistic to be on ps3 system. More than a little freaked out, I avoided the other pieces of rubble, continuing through the area. In the heart of the town, I saw heather standing alone. she almost looked a little sad.

Talking to her brought up a text box reading "TURN BACK NOW." A yes-no popup appeared. I moved the cursor to 'no' and hit X button. The text box and yes-no option remained. I tried saying 'no' many more times, but the text box wouldn't leave, even when I hit O button . A bit unwillingly, I selected 'yes'. [Main antagonist]'s face turned to a twisted grin. "YOU CAN'T ESCAPE." An almost evil sounding laughter started playing, quietly at first, growing louder and louder the more I tried to close the text box. heather stepped foward and onto my character, making her disappear. The screen went black.

I waited about half a minute and nothing appeared on the screen still. I checked to make sure the disc was in the ps3 securly and that it was plugged into the TV . Everything was fine, but the screen was still off. A little over a minute later a small sound came from the TV, like children's screams. It grew louder and louder, and the screen faded in. myrna was now completely red, and stuck in a long hallway. A bit anxiously, I pressed towards. Every ten steps or so, a picture would pop up, full screen. Bodies of children, killed and mangled, almost unrecognizable. Each picture grew worst than the last. Limbs cut off, guts falling out, their mouth still in the shape of a scream. The screaming sound in the background continued to get louder and louder. I wanted to stop, but it felt like something was making me continue on.

Finally, I got to the end of the hallway. heather was there waiting for me again, red and bloody like myrna was. "YOU CAN'T ESCAPE." I tried clicking to the next message, but the text just appeared again, repeating over and over, flashing across the screen. Underlaying it more pictures of the children appeared, so incredibly realistic, their bodies being torn apart.

Horrified, I finally switched the power off on the Ps3. It didn't stop. I unplugged it from the wall, but the screaming and the pictures continued, the screaming now such an ear piercingly loud volume I didn't know my TV could make. Just as I thought I was going to go insane, it stopped. The screen went black again, and the screaming stopped, with only a yes-no option box appearing again. I hurridly chose 'no'. The ps3 swtiched itself off.

I still don't know how that happened, or why. I threw the silent hill in the trash immediately after that. I hope no one ever goes through what I did.
